heh, have been so busy enjoying my new space that i didn't even think to blog about it. getting pictures hung, strange music played, and bookshelves arranged -- my home away from home.
so cool having all my "work" stuff in one place; now i actually get some "work" done! really, it's the most glorious sort of play for me; but i'm happy to bow to convention and call it work.
mmm, maybe getting time to slope over to Trader Joe's for some lunch munchies . . . .

the office
i've never had an office, but i soon will!
"Time to go to the office," i'll soon get to say. "Where's Derek? Oh, he's at the office," my wife will say to nonexistent callers.
"I gave at the office." will become my reply for unsolicited money-seekers.

whew!
my brain is drained. packing up my possessions sucks!
i miss love, i miss companionship. i just want a warm place for me and the birdies!
how many milk crates do i actually have? a lot.
trying to weed out uninteresting books and such.
